The Uxeter Kimberwicke bit is quite versatile and provides the young rider with a bit more stopping power when compared to the standard Kimberwicke. The slots in the cheek allow the rein to be placed on the top of the ring for a less severe effect or lower for a stronger result. It is recommended that these bits always be used with their curb chain, which acts on the chin groove.
